Welcome to Browns Family Farmstead — a veteran-owned, family-operated farm dedicated to producing high-quality freeze-dried fruit, nutrient-rich microgreens, and pasture-raised chicken with care and purpose. We believe in simple ingredients, honest farming, and serving families with food they can trust.

But our mission doesn’t stop there.

Alongside the foods we grow on our farm, we also carefully preserve a selection of delicious, ripe fruits through our small-batch freeze-drying process. While the fruit is sourced from trusted partners, every piece is processed with the same commitment to quality, nutrition, and long shelf life — without added sugars or preservatives.

Microgreens are tiny greens with big benefits. Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and flavor, they are some of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. We grow and harvest each batch with care, then freeze-dry them at peak freshness to naturally preserve their nutrition and quality.

Whether it’s our farm-grown radish microgreens or our crisp strawberry slices, everything we offer is:

We also hatch and raise chickens on our farm, with a focus on animal welfare and sustainable practices. We are preparing to offer ethically processed, pasture-raised chicken in the near future — a natural next step in our commitment to real, responsibly raised food.

2022 – Browns Family Farmstead is founded with a mission to produce wholesome, shelf-stable foods on a small family scale.

2023 – Fruit freeze-drying expands our product line.

2024 – Freeze-dried microgreen production begins, starting with broccoli and radish.

2025 – Pasture-raised chicken program launches with on-farm hatching and ethical practices. Processed chicken products are in development.
